Nothing leaves your browser

There is no upload, no server, no account, and no network call in this page. It works with your Wi-Fi off, and you can save it and open it offline. It is one HTML file: use View Source and check. That is deliberate — you should not have to trust a stranger with a client's books to find out whether this is useful.

One thing I do count, and you should read it here rather than find it later: to hand you this file at all, my web server had to receive your request for it. I record three things about that request — that it happened, which site linked you here, and whether your browser reported it as a navigation you triggered yourself. That last one exists only to tell a reader apart from a crawler, because most of what reaches a page like this is automated. No IP address, no cookie, no identifier, nothing about your browser or your device, nothing derived from your file. It is how I learn whether anyone reads this at all. Your books are not part of it: they never leave this page, so they never reach me.
